On October 6, 2020, the 102nd anniversary of the liberation of Medvedja and Gornja Jablanica from the occupiers in the First World War was marked. In addition to the head of the Jablanica administrative district, Miloš Ćirić, the presidents of the municipalities, representatives of the Serbian Army, the police, as well as the citizens of Medvedja, descendants and associations of war veterans, attended the celebration of this ceremony.
