World Roma Day is celebrated on April 8, with the aim of pointing out the problems of Roma, who are the largest minority in Europe. By the decision of the United Nations Assembly, April 8 was declared the International Roma Day, which marks the anniversary of the First International Roma Congress. As a member of the National Coalition for the End of Child Marriages in Serbia, the mayor works on preventing and preventing minor marriages in the Roma population, and makes great efforts to contribute to improving the living conditions of Roma and greater inclusion of Roma in society. The mayor of the district, Miloš Ćirić, congratulates all members of the Roma nationality on April 8, the World Roma Day, and says that this day is an opportunity to point out the problems that the Roma are facing.
